Larry and Betsy Lehner were visiting Savannah in 2003. The charm and personality of the people, houses, buildings,
and greenery of this historic city were very enticing. In 2004 the Lehners purchased an 1870 townhouse and began refurbishing
the interior and exterior. This home was appointed with period furniture and decor and subusequently offered for short-term
rentals.
It became apparent through inquiries that travelers
often requested an accomodation with three bedrooms. The Lehners consequently purchased a townhouse down the street when it
became available. This home has likewise, been restored, painted, and tastefully furnished with period antiques and furniture.
Visiting chefs will be thrilled with the lovely new kitchen
and appliances in both homes. The courtyards are a delightful spot to enjoy eating, relaxing, or socializing. Visitors to
our homes are able to park their vehicle and walk the full extent of the historic district and River Street - or Our Lady
and Sons (Paula Deen) and a multitude of restaurants, sites, and shops.
The
demand for these properties has created repeat renters to book as long as year in advance. Larry and Betsy recommend you contact
them as much in advance as possible to secure dates.
